BEFORE USING COLORED CEMENT TYPE REPAIR KITS:
Computer monitors only show you approximate colors. Always take about a tablespoon of the dry repair material from the repair kit, mix with water & compare color to your WET existing surface BEFORE DOING THE REPAIR to be sure it matches to your liking.
If the repair material needs to be a lighter color, use our Titanium Dioxide White Cement Colorant.
If the repair material needs to be darker add some black cement dye.
Add Cement dye colorant a little at a time to the dry repair material and mix thoroughly each time. You want to compare the wet repair material samples to your existing wet surface.

Instructions & Video
Before mixing and applying the repair material make sure it is the right match!
It is sometimes hard to see exactly what the color will be from computer screens. Take a small amount of material out of the repair kit and mix with water. Wet the surface that you are trying to match and compare the wet sample to the wet surface. If the material needs to be darker, add some cement dye. If the material needs to be lighter, purchase some Titanium Dioxide Bright White Cement Colorant from our website.
3. Add water and mix into the consistency of “mashed potatoes” (for using just part of the kit you can use fractions EXAMPLE = 1/4 of the liquid cement bonder to 1/4 of the dry mix). For tile whose color is between Terra Cotta and Yellow-Tan, add E-Z PATCH 13 and E-Z PATCH 14 together and mix wet to compare and match the tile surface when it is wet. Use warm water for faster set and cold water to slow set.
4. CRACK REPAIR: Rub E-Z PATCH into crack assuring deep penetration into crack (add more water to mix if needed for very small cracks).
5. CHIP REPAIR: Fill-in chip and trowel flat.
6. Remove excess immediately with a moist sponge. Rinse Sponge often.
7. Allow repair to dry and then remove any residue with a dry cloth.
8. Allow repair to cure two weeks before oiling or sealing.
To make a Custom Color with any of our cement type repair supplies, use any cement dye.

Repaired many serious cracks running through our Saltillo Tiles better known as Mexican Tiles with Red-Brown color. However you may have to mix some liquid cement coloring of your choice to match as best as you can. You need to be a real artist. Also just use a bottle of concrete bonding adhesive instead of water to moisten it, much easier than their prescribed method. Two applications works best as the first application dries and sinks down a bit so the second application fills it in best and level. After drying It remains quite visible against the actual tile because it is flat finish, until you seal the flooring with a nice gloss coat, then it blends in better and is hardly noticeable as it takes on the same sheen. Have to be careful with color matching as the closer you get to the tile color the less visible it will be. Overall pretty good, and it’s ready mixed and gives you a starting point for your application.

So far, this product is fantastic. I used it to patch an eroded area on a reddish/pink Saltillo tile on an outdoor patio. Apparently, water dripped from an older raingutter and the drops eroded a 4” corner section of the tile. The product was easy to mix and smooth on after I cleared the area of dirt and loose debris. The color is spot on and I honestly couldn’t tell which tile I repaired!!

Excellent product for quick repair
BONDER liquid is Inside the mix powder, just pull it out, just add water little by little and stir the mix until it thickens enough, add bonder liquid after.
If you need a smaller amount do the mix on a separate container you may have at home.
It’s excellency for broken or cracked tiles. 👌🏼This one was terracotta color

This product worked better than expected. It filled big, unlevel cracks in my Saltillo tile patio. The color was a pretty good match and will blend in with a little wear. The little tub of product actually covers more than expected.

Our 40 year old satillo tile floor has developed a few cracks and we’re selling our house. This repair kit did very well hiding the small ones. Even the larger cracks look better. Easy to use.

Severe cracks in patio Saltillo tile. Follow the directions closely. I divided the bonding agent and powder into thirds so that I’d have small batches to work with (and develop a feel sooner). I used a putty knife edge to tamp material down into the cracks, then fingers to fill it. It sank as it dried overnight, so I’ll come back and “finish it off” the final 1/8th inch to make it level with tiles. Visually, the crack does not truly disappear, but blends into the rest of the patio. I can live with that under my circumstances, since the crack is 15 feet long. Far better than staring at the crack day after day.
