E-Z Patch® 11Glass Bead Plaster Repair is specifically designed for above water glass bead plaster repairs. Many colors are available. E-Z Patch® 11 contains a special acrylic modified material with pozzolans (siliceous volcanic ash) and polymers. Pool water must be lowered to do repairs, the pool may be refilled after 24 hours.Liquid Acrylic Bonder is included in the repair kit. Our formula is stronger than original pool plaster or replaster materials.
Below are our E-Z Patch 11 and E-Z Patch 11 F.S. Glass Bead Plaster Repair color options. All of our cement repair colors may be adjusted using any cement dye. Available in 1 lb., 3 lb., 10 lb. & 50 lb. sizes. Wet existing surface to compare to pictures.
Before mixing and applying the repair material, make sure it is the right color and material match! It is sometimes hard to see exactly what the color will be from computer monitor screens.
Take a small amount of dry material out of the repair kit and mix with water to be the consistency of “Putty”. Then, wet the existing surface that you are trying to match and compare the wet sample to the wet existing surface. If the material needs to be darker, add a very small amount of E-Z Patch Black Cement Dye and dry mix well. If the material needs to be lighter, add a very small amount of E-Z Patch Titanium Dioxide White Cement Colorant and dry mix well. Both colors are available on our website. You can also use any good cement dye. Repeat this process until the color match is satisfactory.

Instructions & Video
Before mixing and applying the repair material, make sure it is the right color and material match! It is sometimes hard to see exactly what the color will be from computer monitor screens.

If the material needs to be darker, add a very small amount of E-Z Patch Black Cement Dye and dry mix well. 2. Remove loose cement and chip area down at least 3/8” deep. Make sure the edges are chipped straight down (not beveled or slanted). Clean the surface and rinse with water.
3. Add LIQUID CEMENT BONDER to E-Z PATCH® 11 DRY CEMENT MIX (for using just part of the kit you can use fractions EXAMPLE = 1/4 of the liquid cement bonder to 1/4 of the dry mix). Now add water and mix until you get the consistency of “mashed potatoes. Use warm water for faster set and cold water to slow set.
4a. CRACK REPAIR – Saw-cut crack 3/8” wide & 3/8” deep, clean surface Rub E-Z PATCH® 11 deep into crack and remove excess and expose the Glass Beads with a moist sponge.
4b. CHIPS OR LARGER AREAS – Firmly trowel E-Z PATCH® 11 filling the area. Trowel again flat and smooth = flush with the existing plaster. Remove excess from edges with a moist sponge. Lightly spray with a water hose, bug sprayer or use a wet sponge to expose the Beads. If there is any residue “haze” the next day, it can be removed by wetting the surface with water & pouring a mixture of 1/3 muriatic acid to 2/3 water on the patched area. Wait 1 minute and rinse using a water hose. You may refill water the next day.
To make a Custom Color with any of our cement type repair supplies, use any cement dye.
