E-Z Patch® 28 Clear Vinyl Liner Repair Sealant when used by itself becomes a strong, clear patch. Just use your wet hand as your installation tool. E-Z Patch® 28 may be applied under water or above water. It repairs cuts, rips and pinholes. Quick and very easy to use, with a full five minute working time, this clear sealant does not burn your eyes or stick to your hand when applied under water, nor does it leave residue in water. If a patch is needed due to heavy water flow, E-Z Patch® 28 also has a clear vinyl patch included in the kit.
A complete cure takes 3 to 5 days (must wait for complete cure before running pool vacuum). You may swim immediately after repair and it usually withstands physical contact after setting overnight.
1. Repairs may be done underwater or above water. Surface must be clean.
2. Extrude E-Z Patch® 28 onto any rip, cut or hole area on Vinyl Liner or Pool/ Spa Cover.
3. Using wet fingers, with light pressure, even out E-Z Patch® 28 leaving 1/8” thickness and “featheredge” the edges flush with surface.
4. When a patch is needed due to heavy water flow, large cuts or rips and also for large repairs done at seams, use the enclosed clear vinyl liner patch.
5. A complete cure takes 3 to 5 days (must wait for complete cure before running pool vacuum). You may swim immediately after repair and it usually withstands physical contact after setting overnight.
