E-Z Patch 4 F.S.® Underwater (Fast Set) White Pool Tile Set & Grout Repair is an underwater fast set mixture used for setting or grouting tiles underwater. This product contains special modified materials with pozzolans (siliceous volcanic ash) and polymers. Liquid acrylic bonder is not needed on this kit.Swimming allowed the next day after application. Available in 1 lb., 3 lb., 10 lb. & 50 lb. sizes.
Before mixing and applying the repair material, make sure it is the right color and material match! It is sometimes hard to see exactly what the color will be from computer monitor screens.
Take a small amount of dry material out of the repair kit and mix with water to be the consistency of “Putty”. Then, wet the existing surface that you are trying to match and compare the wet sample to the wet existing surface. If the material needs to be darker, add a very small amount of E-Z Patch Black Cement Dye and dry mix well. If the material needs to be lighter, add a very small amount of E-Z Patch Titanium Dioxide White Cement Colorant and dry mix well. Both colors are available on our website. You can also use any good cement dye. Repeat this process until the color match is satisfactory.

Had a few scum line tiles that fell off inside the skimmer area. This stuff was easy to use and seems to be holding the tiles in place well. Tip: It goes from too thick to too watery very fast. Add water to the mix carefully and slowly. A thick mixture works best.

I used this for all my pool tiles that fell off after a nasty winter. Once I started repairing I found a lot around the fallen ones that needed repairing too so I repaired around 15 small tiles. I was pretty messy about it but it worked. I even filled in a crack where the capstone had broken, and I didn’t think it would do much, but to my ultimate surprise, it fixed the crack and the broken part of the stone was no longer mobile. I did try fixing with this under water, and that did not work. You really need to do this above the water line. I still have some left. It dries really quick so just use a disposable container to mix up what you need rather than wasting the whole jar.

This was so easy to use and looks as good as new!! I hope it will hold up well. If anymore tiles come off I will be able to easily repair it.

When working with it under water, I mixed it a little dry or let it sit just a bit to get firm. This prevented it from breaking up or dissolving while working with it under water. Super easy to use. This stuff doesn’t go very far…I used almost the whole container for just a few cracks (they were big and deep…around the skimmer. It’s a bright white…I should have colored it but you don’t notice it where I patched it

I researched a product to repair missing grout from between tiles above waterline in my pool. This product had good reviews and even mentioned that it could be used below water line. As it turned out, I let the water level drop in my pool to below the problem areas so underwater use was not needed. This product worked great. It does set up very quickly (<5 minutes) so mix in small batches. I used a red solo cup to mix a small amount at a time. The product is easy to use and looks great matching the while grout that is already between my pool tiles. After five days it looks very sturdy without signs of failure. I highly recommend this product as it delivers what is promised.

I had accumulating a couple of dozen loose pool tiles. I used EZ Patch for both the plaster to mount the tiles and the grout that fills in the spaces between tiles. Both worked well. The grout was easier to apply and cleanly remove for the tile surfaces after about 5 minutes after application. The plaster was easier to get a smooth putty like feel, while the grout wanted to clump, but would eventually smooth out. Overall, I got a fair job for a newby to working with pool tiles, for about $75 dollars (plaster, grout, two trowells, and a nice sponge). My pool guy said he could barely tell which ones I had applied from those still in place, and guessed that I saved $300 to $500. Recommended.

Having this in powder form makes it very easy to adjust the amount needed for each job. Mixes and adheres well.
